What We Do

 

Established in 2022 and based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, Fateel Technologies is a fast-growing company at the intersection of strategic minerals, technological research, and sustainable energy transition. We operate across three core divisions:

 I.  STRATEGIC MINERAL TRADING ​​

This is the foundation of our company. We source and supply critical raw materials such as Antimony, Rare Earth Elements (Monazite, Bastnasite), Lithium, Hafnium, Beryllium, and PGMs — essential for defense, battery technologies, renewables, and advanced manufacturing. Our supply chains span Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, where we’ve established strong partnerships with miners, processors, and refineries.

What sets Fateel Technologies apart is our extensive presence on the ground. We maintain a network of trusted partners and local employees who are actively engaged in scouting mining sites, collecting geological samples, and dispatching them to our lab in Oman for testing and validation. Our workforce is our strength, and by staying embedded in key mineral zones, we ensure not only consistent access but also the technical advantage of sourcing the right materials from the right places at the right time.

 II.  RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT  (R&D)

From our base in Oman, our R&D division conducts weekly laboratory trials on strategic ores to develop deeper technical insight and support downstream innovation. We manage an ever-growing in-house database containing hundreds of test results, mineral samples, and location-specific data across Africa and Asia. Our aim is to transform raw mineral sourcing into actionable scientific knowledge that supports future-ready applications.​

Our R&D initiatives are bolstered by collaborations with esteemed institutes in Australia and Canada. Current explorations include potential lithium extraction projects from thermal sites in Africa, emphasizing our commitment to innovation.

 III.  SPECIALISED SERVICES & MARKET INTELLIGENCE

Our multidisciplinary team supports clients with strategic sourcing, technical advisory, and market intelligence. We deliver clear, on-the-ground insight into global mineral flows, material quality, and operational risks, helping our partners make informed decisions across every step of the supply chain.​

Our team has had the opportunity to contribute to key industry discussions at various forums and conferences in regions such as Mali, Australia, Rwanda, and others. These invitations reflect a growing recognition of our field experience and technical insight. In these settings, we’ve shared our perspectives on how to bridge mining with innovation, foster research and development, support local talent development, and identify emerging opportunities across fast-evolving supply chains. Our contributions have helped position Fateel Technologies as a collaborative and forward-thinking voice in the Mining and Metallurgy sector, particularly across the African continent.

​Who We Are

 

At the core of Fateel is a team of Omani and International engineers, scientists, geologists, PhDs and professionals working in mining, metallurgy, and materials science. This diversity drives our mission: to build Oman’s long-term capabilities in critical raw materials, contribute to its industrial knowledge base, and position the country as a key player in the global energy and technology transition.

With an eye on the future, we envision the establishment of state-of-the-art R&D facilities in Oman. In alignment with Oman’s Vision 2040, our roadmap encompasses extensive R&D, hefty investments, and forging global partnerships to sculpt the batteries of tomorrow made in Oman.
